Invitation for Collaborative Research Project for the APT HRD Programme

Asia-Pacific Telecommunity is now inviting applications for collaborative research projects on the HRD Programme for Exchange of ICT Researchers/Engineers.

The objective of this programme is to promote the development of advanced ICT researchers/engineers in the Asia-Pacific region by the exchange of personnel through international collaborative research projects on advanced ICT.

This programme has been embarked since 2001. Since then the criteria has been updated to reflect rapid technological changes and the changing requirements of the industry and the users.

Interested members are requested to submit the project proposal for the above HRD Programme by completing the Application Form attached below.

The main conditions of this program are:

  • The research is to be concluded within 11 months from the date of announcement of selection by the APT secretariat.
  • In principle, a maximum amount of US$60,000 will be made available for each project/research. However, the appropriate amount of the budget for the project will be determined based on careful examination of the proposal prior to project implementation.
