The Technical Training Workshop was successfully conducted from 10 to 12 July 2026 at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang. The three-day event brought together 47 participants, including representatives from the Information Management Division of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) serving as the MYREN administrator, regional network administrators, and representatives from Telekom Malaysia (TM) and Iburuj Network Sdn Bhd.
The primary objective of the workshop was to equip network administrators with the essential knowledge and technical skills required to effectively manage the MYREN network at their respective institutions.
The workshop blended comprehensive briefings with intensive, hands-on practical sessions. The curriculum focused on core MYREN services, including eduroam, ThousandEyes, and EduVPN.
Through this training, participants gained valuable knowledge and were successfully equipped with the expertise needed to improve network efficiency at their respective institutions.
