The APAN 60 Meeting was successfully held from 27 to 31 July 2025 in Hong Kong, China. The meeting brought together researchers, technical experts, NRENs, universities and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in research and education networking and emerging technologies.
MYREN was represented by one (1) representative from the Information Management Division, Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), namely Ms. Rani binti Aris (Principal Assistant Secretary), and one (1) representative from Iburuj Network Sdn Bhd.
The programme included working group meetings, technical presentations, workshops, training sessions and discussions, covering areas such as advanced networking, AI, HPC, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
Through participation in APAN 60, the Malaysian representatives gained valuable knowledge on emerging technologies and regional research and education networking developments, while also strengthening engagement and collaboration with the regional and international networking community.
